Folders Copied at StartupFolders Copied at StartupThe following folders are copied on startup:System\Desktop copied to Windows\DesktopSystem\Favorites copied to Windows\FavoritesSystem\Fonts copied to Windows\FontsSystem\Help copied to Windows\HelpSystem\Programs copied to Windows\ProgramsAppMgr copied to Windows\AppMgrRecent copied to Windows\RecentThis function copies only the folder contents, no sub-folders.The Windows\Startup folder is not copied on startup because copying this folder has no effect on the system or an incorrecteffect.Files in the Startup folder are executed, but only from System\Startup. Windows\Startup is parsed too early in the boot processso it has no effect.Executables in System\Startup must be the actual executable, not a shortcut, because shortcuts are not parsed by Launch.Saving Changes to the RegistryThe HX2 saves the registry when you:• Tap Start | Run then type Warmboot. Tap OK.• Perform a Suspend / Resume function (by pressing the Pwr key and then pressing it again). The registry save process takes 0 – 3 seconds. If nothing has been changed, nothing is saved (e.g. 0 seconds)The registry is automatically saved every 20 minutes. It is also saved every tenth time the registry settings are changed.Registry settings are changed when control panel applet (e.g. Date/Time) parameters are changed by the user and a warm bootwas not performed afterward. When you tap Start | Run then type Coldboot and tap the OK button, factory default registry settings are loaded duringcoldboot. All customized changes and settings are lost.E-EQ-HX2RG-M [ 31 ] HX2 Reference Guide
