It is by entering into that greater consciousnessalone that one can grasp <strong>the</strong> inevitability of its self-creationand purpose.” 29Nirodbaran, <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> Ashram doctor, wrote a daily reportto <strong>the</strong> Mo<strong>the</strong>r and Sri Aurobindo about <strong>the</strong> condition of<strong>the</strong> sadhaks under his care. It was Sri Aurobindo who wrote<strong>the</strong> answers about what Nirodbaran had to do in his dispensaryor at <strong>the</strong> local hospital, and who also answered <strong>the</strong> doctor’smore personal queries concerning his sadhana. Theseanswers developed into a treasure of wisdom and simplicity– and humor.
