Preparing for the Miraculous

The foregoing reflections are thereforerelevant to support an open attitude towards the presentconditions in a rapidly changing world and the dramatichap penings all over the globe which are brought to ourknowledge day by day. The events of history have neverbeen predictable to the human mind. Still less is it capableof discerning the trends of our contemporary history andtheir possible consequences, now that we are constantlyinformed about the goings-on in the four corners of theworld. If in the present crisis atmosphere we want to findsome solid ground, we must not turn to science but inwardsand find there what is the core of our existence, while on theoutside we must have confidence in “the magic of the Magician,”inevitably working for a new and better world. Fromthis standpoint all history, like all existence and manifestation,is one continuous miracle. This knowledge can helpus to prepare for the future miracles capable of solving ourglobal problems, miracles which, according to Sri Aurobindoand the Mother, will reveal the meaning of it all andare certain to happen.The preparatory workof Sri Aurobindo and the MotherWhat do we, Aurobindians, stand for?
