Farmers are being linkedto hatcheries, input suppliers, processors, scientists, Research <strong>In</strong>stitutes, Governmentinstitutes, banks, and others. Bank loans for working capital, which are not availablenow for most <strong>of</strong> the small scale farmers, are likely to be made available oncethe societies are linked up with the market. The operational links are depicted schematicallyin Fig. 3.7 . MPEDA is extending financial assistance in the form <strong>of</strong> thesociety scheme to kick-start the formation <strong>of</strong> the clubs and implement the BMPs.There is better flow <strong>of</strong> valuable information from field to research institutes.
