Concentration Requirement for the BSBA DegreeHelzberg School of Management Business Administration major course requirements forthe Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree (BSBA):The BSBA Business Administration major requires the completion of 15 upper-divisionHelzberg School of Management hours in addition to all university requirements andBSBA prerequisite requirements and Helzberg School of Management Core courses forthe Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. The student may choose anyadditional 15 hours from upper-division courses (six hours must be at the 4000-level orhigher) offered by the Helzberg School of Management or the student may pursue a concentrationas outlined below.Concentration in AccountingOption 1: (15 hours) For BSBA students with a concentration in accountingnot pursuing the accelerated MBA Option to meet CPACertification requirements.AC 3000 Intermediate Accounting IAC 3100 Intermediate Accounting IIAC 3400 Intermediate Managerial AccountingAC 4600 Corporate and Partnership TaxationPlus one 3-hour, 4000 or higher level HSOM accounting course elective.Option 2: For BSBA students with a concentration in accounting pursuingthe accelerated MBA Option to meet CPA Certification requirements.AC 3000 Intermediate Accounting IAC 3100 Intermediate Accounting IIAC 3400 Intermediate Managerial AccountingAC 4050 Advanced AccountingAC 4201 Intermediate Financial AnalysisAC 4600 Corporate and Partnership TaxationAC 4650 Individual TaxationAC 4750 Auditing**AC 4750 will satisfy the HSOM undergraduate capstone graduation requirement.For students pursuing Option 2, please see the Graduate Studies in the Helzberg School ofManagement section of the catalog for MBA admission requirements.
