(b)(o)(d)(e)(f)(g)(h)It arranges for the provision of foreign labour.It installs the NU on the work in conjunction with thelocal building controller of the OBL.It arranges for the daily supply of the necessary lorries,omnibuses and other means of transport, and arranges forthe necessary way-bills for the despatch of the NU's plant.It calculates and negotiates additional price agreements,even when the work of the NU is concerned.It carries on all negotiations regarding the execution andcompletion of the building work and the necessarybuilding measures with the OBL.It arranges for the necessary wages and makes them availableto the NU at the proper time.It undertakes to provide all the intelligence reports andforwards the proofs of the prescribed guard measures.The NU, however, mudt provide it with the necessary proofsfor this purpose at the proper time.(i)The HU provides the necessary data for the preparationand putting through of the accounts, the HU checks theaccounts of the NU and then passes them on to the OBL*2. The HU on principle apply the same conditions and prices to theNU which it has itself received as a result of special arrangementswith the OT, for the building work to be carried out by it. This alsoapplies io any "Erschwerniszulage" (Pay addition for dangerous workperformed) which may be arranged with the OT, the amount of which isgoverned by the position of the locality and the degree of difficulty,and for which the same regulations are to be valid for the NU as arevalid for the HU.3» The HU receives for the services rendered under 1 (a) to (i) whichhe deducts from the approved accounts of the NU.(a)(b)For the works according to the Works SchedulePor specially agreed works,an allowance of 3$, which is charged to the NU, and which the HU cancollect by means of a direct deduction from the accounts of the NU*if. The HU is not entitled to make any deduction from the hourly wagebasis, from the accounts for wages for building in spare time, fromcompensation for loss of wages and the like when authenticatingaccounts approved for payment.Para. 7 - Servioes of the NU1* The duties of the NU comprise the maintenance of a buildingoffice staffed with sufficient, experienced, capable technical andcommercial staff, to see to the management and execution of the work*2* The NU must see to it that, for the area of its constructionthere is regular co-operation between all offices or departmentswhich are concerned with the carrying OUT; of the works*-71­
