A film director returns to her home country after a long<br />
break. She wants to shoot a film and is in search of<br />
a main character – a modern day hero. She announces a<br />
casting for 15–23 year old youths in order to find him.<br />
This search brings her to different locations: villages and<br />
cities, mountains and plains, fields and upscale clubs.<br />
There are a lot of people who come to the casting<br />
on their own and they all have different motivations: some<br />
are interested in becoming part of a film, some want<br />
to be like Jean-Claude Van Damme, others are ready to<br />
share their sentimental stories or seek for strength<br />
to carry out their major resolutions … Those who prove to<br />
be interested enough are followed through various<br />
dramatic situations. One more chance to think about<br />
the meaning of life and destiny, about wars, dreams<br />
and happiness. Intense and authentic.<br />

drawings reflect the influence that fashion had on women<br />
and how it was then reinterpreted. Using Mad’s<br />
work as a visual reference, the famous fashion designers<br />
in Milano tell the story of Italian fashion in the golden<br />
years of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Mad left 12,000 drawings<br />
