An account on how the ideal country for a family life<br />
and a peaceful existence might turn into a nightmare<br />
one day due to overprotective social policies. It is a<br />
hidden-camera investigation report on how desperate<br />
parents attempt to get back their beloved 9-year-old<br />
daughter. 9-year-old Nikola and her parents arrived to<br />
Norway five years ago. On 18th June, the girl has<br />
been unexpectedly taken away from her parents by the<br />
Norwegian authorities on grounds of realization that<br />
Nikola ‘has been in a sad mood at school.’ The Norwegian<br />
officials did not investigate the reasons of sadness nor<br />
talked to parents, before placing the child in a Norwegian<br />
foster family, where the girl had been supposed to<br />
await a future adoption. Desperate father hired Krzysztof<br />
Rutkowski – the Polish private detective, to help him<br />
to regain the girl. The film shows an attempt to rescue the<br />
child, through planning stages to the action of taking<br />
away Nikola back to her parents.<br />
