not Be fine
by arash t. riahi
2000–2001 the director Arash T. Riahi filmed the
inhabitants of a transitional residential home for home-
less women, who, for many different reasons, fell
through the cracks of our achievement-oriented society.
Nine years after, the director went looking for some
of these women to see how they fare after such a long
time. What became of their dreams and wishes,
was a return to the cold of an unsheltered world possible
at all ?
exit point
by Jagoda szelc
The film character has an unusual passion. He is ready to
sacrifice a lot for it, including his own life. Exit Point is
a film about decision making; in order to be free one must
sometimes slavishly follow one’s nature. This is also a
story of sacrifice in the name of superior values. What’s the
prize of being free and is freedom indeed worth the
biggest sacrifice.
