punk-rock band Pertti Kurikka’s Name Day, formed<br />
in 2009 by four developmentally disabled guys. The film<br />
follows the band’s journey from their rehearsal room<br />
to cult success. It shows the love and hate between the<br />
guys, the crying and the laughter.<br />

Pushwagner is a personal portrait of a small man with a<br />
great personality. Pop agitator, whip smart renegade<br />
and celebrated graphic artist Hariton Pushwagner lives<br />
life on the edge. ‘There’s a difference in living like<br />
life was real and deep like a thousand kisses.’ Pushwagner<br />
grabs you and doesn’t let go, his puzzling and pro-<br />
found statements keep you glued, hanging on his every<br />
word. Meaningful or meaningless, maybe there’s<br />
no difference, especially since he thinks ‘words are like<br />
viruses.’ The man infects the screen with his paranoia<br />
and need for control until you realize that it’s not all<br />
inside his head. As Pushwagner faces a former assistant<br />
in court, fighting for legal control of his career, image<br />
and art work, it all begins to make sense.<br />
