Anna Hans Makundi<br />

Anna holds an MSc in Public Policy from Victoria University of<br />
Wellington New Zealand. She also holds a BSc in general agriculture<br />
from Sokoine University of Agriculture- Tanzania. She lives in<br />
Arusha region in the northern part of Tanzania. She currently works as a Monitoring and<br />
Evaluation Specialist at World Vision Tanzania. Before that she held the position of a<br />
<strong>Regional</strong> Training and Development Advisor at MS TCDC with a major focus on food<br />
rights, land rights and climate change; project planning and management; and accountability<br />
and budget. In the past she worked with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security<br />
and Cooperatives of Tanzania as a research fellow for 10 years.<br />

Jeremiah is a self-employed small scale maize and dairy farmer. He<br />
is chairman of NGOMA. He successfully attended several courses<br />
among which gender mainstreaming in agriculture and livestock extension<br />
services and the national budget process; setting standards for the<br />
county government; civic empowerment; advocacy & lobbying and resource mobilization;<br />
and training of trainers courses on engagement with the constitution review process<br />
and people’s participation for equality. He obtained a diploma in entrepreneurship &<br />
innovation in the agricultural industry at Bygholm Agricultural College, Denmark. He is<br />
an active member of the CAADP non-state sectors dialogue platform, Kenya.<br />

Aftab holds an MSc. Economics in Development Management (UK,<br />
2007), MPhil Agricultural Economics (Pakistan, 2003) and an MSc.<br />
Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology (Pakistan, 1995). He<br />
brings over sixteen years of local, national, regional and global levels experience on research,<br />
policy and programs, working with and leading multi-cultural teams. He currently works as<br />
international coordinator livelihoods and food security at ActionAid International.<br />
