Amirul Islam<br />

Amirul holds his MSc in Agricultural Science (Bangladesh, 2000).<br />
He possesses around fifteen years of experience in the field of agriculture<br />
and food security with a focus on sustainable agriculture<br />
practices, collective marketing and value chain development of agricultural products. In<br />
his 15-years career, Amirul carried out a number of researches along with intense policy<br />
and campaign work on food rights and sustainable agriculture issues. At ActionAid<br />
Bangladesh he was Manager- Food Rights and Sustainable Livelihoods. He is currently<br />
working with BRAC as Senior Manager Agriculture and Food Security.<br />
Joel Musarurwa<br />

Joel has over 15 years’ experience in development work and working<br />
with farmers and communities. He holds a BSc Agricultural Economics<br />
honors’ degree (University of Zimbabwe 1991), Post Graduate BA<br />
Honors’ in Development Studies (University of South Africa), and he was a final year student<br />
for MSc. in Peace Leadership and Conflict resolution (Zimbabwe Open University).<br />
Tsitsi R Choruma<br />

Tsitsi is a social scientist by training, Doctorate in Leadership,<br />
Seattle University; Master of Public Administration, University<br />
of Zimbabwe; MSc in Management, Academy of Social Sciences<br />
and Management, Sofia Bulgaria, has expertise in strategy development,<br />
program planning and management. Experience relates to work done in the<br />
USA, South and East Africa, Asia and the Pacific. She has extensive experience in<br />
research, documentation, capacity building and training . This experience has been<br />
applied in areas relating to Governance and Democracy, Women’s Rights, Education,<br />
Humanitarian & Emergency situations, Sustainable livelihoods, Agriculture, HIV &<br />
AIDs and Disabilities. Tsitsi has worked in the international development arena for<br />
more than 10 years, as Vice President of Global Education Services, Seattle, USA and<br />
as a Director for CIIR/Progressio Zimbabwe, Action Aid International in Zimbabwe,<br />
Oxfam International in Zimbabwe.<br />
