890 It is not possible for us to accept the aforesaid submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner. It is open to the State Government to decide whether or not to fill up the vacancies available with it, as of now, the State Government has taken a decision on June 28, 2007 not to fill up the 14 posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police for which applications were earlier invited by withdrawing the requisitions made therefor from the Punjab <strong>Service</strong> Commission. We find no infirmity in the aforesaid determination at the hand of the State Government on an issue which falls in its exclusive domain.
