What They’re Good For
These drugs are part of the recommended regimen
for HCV genotype 1 infection in both treatmentnaïve
and treatment-experienced patients.

Be sure that your patients are committed to and
ready for a course of therapy before treating HCV
infection. It is a disease that takes many years to
progress and noncompliance can lead to therapeutic
failure, so education is very important.
