Ilaria Ciabatti, a Florentine artist but Peruvian<br />
by heart has been a great admirer of Peruvian<br />
silversmithy and art from the Viceregal period.<br />
There are two facets to Ilaria's jewellery. On<br />
the one hand it is characterised by the use<br />
of natural materials such as the spondylus,<br />
Andean opal, mother-of-pearl, sodalite,<br />
Peruvian turquoise, quartz and amethyst,<br />
among others. On the other, silver is used in a<br />
fusion of different styles.<br />
