In order to clearly define the limits of responsibilities between <strong>RailCorp</strong> and <strong>PPP</strong> Co suitable<br />
interface points shall be provided (by <strong>PPP</strong> Co), preferably on or near the physical boundary<br />
of the Maintenance Facility.<br />
9.3.2.2 Stage 3<br />
The <strong>PPP</strong> Co. Signalling system will need to interface with the new <strong>RailCorp</strong> signalling<br />
system that will be installed as part of the major resignalling of the Auburn – Granville<br />
corridor.<br />
The implementation of a new <strong>RailCorp</strong> signalling system will allow for enhanced interfaces<br />
with the <strong>PPP</strong> Co. Signalling system, including the provision of bi-directional dual control<br />
working into the various <strong>PPP</strong> Co. sidings<br />

9.3.3 SIGNALLING FIELD EQUIPMENT TYPES<br />
The following equipment types to be used, where required, are:<br />

Track Circuits • Jeumont Schneider high voltage impulse track<br />
circuits over points - Single and double rail type.<br />
• CSEE Jointless - DPU’s can be used for timing and<br />
conditional clearing.<br />
Relays All relays to be WSA Q type relays<br />
Note: The exact location of all signals and height of posts will be determined by the Signal<br />
sighting committee.<br />
