<strong>PPP</strong> Co. will be required to undertake stageworks impacting on the existing <strong>RailCorp</strong><br />
signalling system to accommodate the various construction activities associated with the<br />
<strong>PPP</strong> Co. Yard works.<br />
Staging works to be undertaken by <strong>PPP</strong> Co. include:<br />
• Removal and / or relocation of existing <strong>RailCorp</strong> signalling equipment, cables and cable<br />
routes and provision / utilisation of some of the new signalling components, including<br />
signals, point machines and cable routes /ULX’s.<br />
• Adjustment and / or reconfiguration of existing track circuits and track bonding and<br />
utilisation of new ULX’s, cable routes utilisation of some of the new signalling<br />
components, especially cable routes. ULX’s and bonding<br />
<strong>PPP</strong> Co. must design and implement the stageworks to minimise:<br />
• The impact on the existing <strong>RailCorp</strong> signalling system.<br />
• The impact on train services, especially <strong>RailCorp</strong> services.<br />
• The work required for commissioning of the new signalling system.<br />
