LEARNING
1
FRAYER MODEL
Copy and complete the below chart in
your workbook.
Everything is made of matter. Solid, liquid and
gas are the three main states of matter that
we observe on Earth. A fourth state of matter,
called plasma, occurs in lightning and inside
the Sun. Each state of matter can be described
by the way particles behave. In many everyday
activities – such as melting chocolate, freezing
ice cubes and evaporating water when we
sweat – we are changing states of matter.
