groom. Axle and Chashmish went and stood behind
them. In order to pass time they started oggling here
and there passing comments on people.
“Saale Chashmish… who mote uncle ko dekh rahe ho…
tum saale bade ho ke waise hi lagoge” cheeked Axle as
he slyly pointed towards a rotund guy
“Accha…. Aur tum jo hai us aunty jaise lagoge”
Chashmish responded by pointing towards a lady
standing next to the rotund guy.
This back and forth continued for the next 5 min after
which their turn to go on the stage came. Both of them
went up in style. Axle said hello to the Groom and then
moved on to the bride. As soon as he saw her face, his
color vanished. The girl was Tanya, his Tanya. Axle
blanked out. His smile disappeared. He couldn’t think
what to do.
“Should I shout? Should I let everyone know that this is
the girl I love and she is going away from me? Should I
hit the groom?? What should I do?”
While Axle stood there dumbfounded, the girl kept
looking at him with her big black eyes pleading not to do
anything. Some time later the people around them
asked them to pose for a picture and made all of them
stand in a formation. Axle stood next to Tanya as she
whispered
“I love this guy very much. Family pride se Zindagi nahi
chalti. Please understand. You are my childhood friend”
She pleaded.
The people around the stage were oblivious of the
situation and very busy photographing. After a quick
snap both of them got down from the stage and got out.
Chashmish was still unaware of what had transpired and
was busy fooling around.
