Haddi went out of the bathroom to find someone who
would help him put Chashmish on a bed. He found
“Champak” roaming in the wing. Both of them made
sure that Chashmish was sleeping comfortably in his
room a few minutes later. Haddi then took a quick
shower and raced to the mess in order to catch
breakfast. After which he came back to his room and
crashed. The gang woke up well past noon and
conglomerated around 3 in the canteen to get
something to eat. Now that it had become sure that they
will have to stay in the summer, all of them had to
register in the hall office. They spent the remainder of
the afternoon talking to people in the hall office making
sure they didn’t have to leave their current rooms. It
took some convincing but since it was a very large
group, the hall office finally agreed. It was yet another
sweltering hot day and by the time everything in the
hostel was in place, everyone was extremely tired. It
must have been around 5 o’clock when Vodka saw an
email from a senior who suggested that Roy may not
offer the course during the summer semester. As soon
as Vodka told this to the rest of the group, everyone got
super stressed. CHM201 was the pre-requisite of several
core courses across a number of different departments
which were going to be offered in the fall semester. If
the course didn’t get offered in the summer and they
didn’t pass it, it basically meant none of them would be
graduating on time. Within 10 min a 50 people strong
group was heading towards the DOSA office to convince
the authorities to offer the course during summer. Even
after an hour long discussion, the best the authorities
could say that they would talk to Prof Roy and inform
the students tomorrow. The entire group came back to
the hostel in despair. Stress had just increased 10 folds
within the past 3 hours. The seven of them decided to
have an early dinner grab a few bottles of beer and go
straight to the rooftop. The plan executed to perfection
by the minute. By 8 0’clock all of them were sitting
comfortably on the rooftop. After some initial worries
about the course, everyone decided to let go and enjoy
