Axle and vodka were too hungry to go anywhere. They<br />
decided to go back to the hostel.The seven of them<br />
promptly split up into groups of 2 and 5 with Axle and<br />
Vodka heading towards the hostel and the rest of them<br />
moving towards the library. A few minutes l<strong>at</strong>er, Untees,<br />
Chashmish and Haddi were saying bye to kaka and<br />
Mariyal as they split up with them and headed towards<br />
the computer center. Within the next half an hour,<br />
everyone had settled into their intended co-ordin<strong>at</strong>es<br />
and a series of unfortun<strong>at</strong>e events was about to begin.<br />
The computer center was desol<strong>at</strong>e <strong>at</strong> the hour. Hardly a<br />
few human beings were present in the building. Half of<br />
them were security guards while the other half was<br />
made up by system administr<strong>at</strong>ors, mad research<br />
assistants and some maintenance people. Since it was<br />
still early morning as per student standards, none of<br />
them were expected to be seen in the computer center.<br />
Kaka and Mariyal constituted a small group of<br />
exceptions to th<strong>at</strong> expect<strong>at</strong>ion. They entered through<br />
the glass door of computer center where a cold chill<br />
greeted them. The temper<strong>at</strong>ure inside the computer<br />
center was kepy pretty low to improve the oper<strong>at</strong>ing<br />
efficiency of the electronic equipments. They checked in<br />
by flashing their identity card to the SIS guard present<br />
<strong>at</strong> the door who decided to be particularly annoying by<br />
making them sign in. Thereafter kaka and Mariyal<br />
moved straight to windows NT lab loc<strong>at</strong>d opposite the<br />
supercomputer. They occupied adjacent se<strong>at</strong>s in the lab<br />
and flicked the mouse. The respective computers broke<br />
out of hibern<strong>at</strong>ion and presented them with the logon<br />
screen. A quick entry of username and password made<br />
the screen disappear. After a double click on the internet<br />
explorer which brought up an IE window, the following<br />
adress was typed<br />

The CC authorities were being extremely proactive in<br />
preventing ch<strong>at</strong>ting and other extra-curricular activities<br />
in the computer center since the last 3 months.
