“Bhaiya, if you don’t mind can I ask you a question?”
“Yeah yeah sure Geeta”
“Do you know any Neha from Kanpur??”
Haddi was surprised to hear that question. If it had been
somebody else his first instinct would have been to snap
but this was an innocent little girl. He decided to handle
it a bit gently
“Yes. How did you know?”
“Are woh na bhaiya I think maine Aneesha ka cellphone
khareeda tha. You know Aneesha??” Haddi nodded as
Geeta continued
“Haan to her messages were not deleted, I read the
messages and figured you and Neha were together. I
can’t believe I am actually meeting you in person. Shailli
would be so thrilled.” Geeta almost exuberant now
“How is Neha now?”
Haddi thought for a second and then said
“Hopefully happy” and then moved on. Geeta kept
looking at him as Haddi passed by. She wasn’t sure
what he meant but decided to let it go and say hello to
the rest of the group.
“If Rohit is here, prachit has to be nearby”
She didn’t have to search for long. The next person to
come and say hello to her was Prachit.
“Hello Geeta, I am Prachit”
“Hello Prachit Bhaiya. It’s very nice to meet you. Bhaiya
can I ask you a question?”
