“Bhaiya how is Aneesha?” she whispered.<br />
“Hopefully with someone better” Untees replied and<br />
started walking towards the notice board to join Haddi.<br />
Geeta was perplexed, she was expecting a bollywoody<br />
ending to the story she had been constructing but Haddi<br />
and Untees’s replies had got her scr<strong>at</strong>ching her head.<br />
She thought for a second then shook her head and said<br />
“Grown ups!! So complic<strong>at</strong>ed!!” and moved on to meet<br />
the rest of the group.<br />
The people from the Gang trickled to the notice board as<br />
soon the meet and greet with Bhola’s family was over.<br />
Vodka was sitting <strong>at</strong> his usual place on the stairs<br />
smoking a gold flake with Haddi and Untees. The list of<br />
fakkas hadn’t come out yet. Chashmish was leaning<br />
against the notice board yawning. He hadn’t slept<br />
properly for the last two days and was very exhausted.<br />
He closed his eyes for a second and had just started to<br />
relax when he heard<br />
“Bhaisahab!! H<strong>at</strong>iye zara! Notice board kholna hai”<br />
Chashmish opened his eyes to see an old man holding a<br />
piece of rolled paper under his shoulder and a key in his<br />
hand signaling him to move. Chashmish moved over.<br />
The old man put the roll of paper on the ground and<br />
opened the locked notice board. He then removed the<br />
piece of paper stuck there and put in the new paper. The<br />
upd<strong>at</strong>ed fakka list had arrived. The old man closed the<br />
notice board and locked it. Everyone else was too tired<br />
to get up so Chashmish was asked to call out the names<br />
of everyone who had failed as he was the one standing<br />
the closest.<br />
“Are kyaa tum log” Chashmish cribbed as he started<br />
going through the list. Inspite of being the <strong>summer</strong><br />
semester, the list was pretty big. The first row th<strong>at</strong>
