Mariyal tried a little bit to nudge the girl to change the
venue but it didn’t help. He now had a date in CR at
8:00 pm today.
”Chalo kaka room chale, bahut bhook lag rahi hai” said
Mariyal with a satisfied look on his face. His work was
done. He looked very happy at his achievement.
”Are ruko saale. Tumhara kaam to ban gaya ab meri
zindagi bhi to kuchh acchi ho jaane do. By the way
tumhariwali ka naam kyaa hai?” Asked kaka
”Naam hai uska Reena. Kisi librarian ki ladki hai aur
campus main hi rehti hai” Mariyal replied proudly. ”Aur i
guess tumhari wali ka naam preeti hai” he added as he
stared at Kaka’s computer screen.
”Haan Preeti Garg naam hai. LSR delhi se arts ka koi
course kar rahi hai. yeh dekho iski photo” kaka opened a
window on the computer screen with Preeti’s profile on
it.
“Are bhaiya. kaka yeh to gasab maal hai be. Ise to tum
zaroor pataana” exclaimed Mariyal. He was clearly
impressed with the girl.
”Haan be koshish to yehi hai” replied kaka
“Abe Mariyal aisa karo tum chalo main thodi der abhi
yahin baithoonga”
“Accha theek hai kaka main chalta hoon. baad main
milte hai” said Mariyal. He left the computer center and
started making his way towards Hall-2. After 5 mins he
was passing outside the IITk library where a few
interesting developments were taking place.
“It was a pleasure meeting you Neha” said Haddi to a
girl with long wavy hair, big brown eyes and a dimpled
smile.
