hurried towards L-7.
”Haddi yaar mujhe aakhri copy abhi bhi edit karni hai
yaar log ki. I need a worm. Kaise ho paega be??” Axle
said in a stressed tone.
but Haddi was in a world of his own. His mind was too
busy cursing the prof for making him miss the chance at
his love life. Mariyal hardly spoke. Untees was walking
with his mouth shut and eyes on his worn out chappals.
“Kaka yeh tennis court ke saamne wala STD kab khulta
hai??” Vodka asked.
“Yaar khul to jaana chahiye tha abhi tak pata nahi kyon
nahi khula hai” kaka replied.
The atmosphere remained tense till their journey to L-7.
The biggest lecture hall of IITk, L-7 had a capacity to
hold upto 430 students at a time. L-7 was being used in
the summer semester for the first time in the history of
IITk. But never before had so many Fakkas been
granted to a batch.
A very big hall with seats arranged on an incline, L-7
almost looked like a continous array of seats except for
the aisles in between. A broad aisle running parallel to
the stage separated the hall in almost two equal parts.
The part in back was separated by two aisles
perpendicular to the broad aisle. The front part too was
divided by two aisles perpendicular to the broad aisle.
There were three entrances to the hall. One on either
end of the broad aisle and a big one adjacent to the
stage.
All of them entered the hall and proceeded straight to
the back section of the hall. Haddi, Vodka and kaka
chose to sit 5 rows back from the broad aisle. Rest of
them sat in the same row but separated by one of the
small aisles with Mariyal in the corner.
