Some monitoring information, such as detailed z/VM information, is not available in the SAP<br />

system. The performance toolkit monitors z/VM and z/VM users, among other things.<br />

Configuring z/VM monitoring<br />

We used the default configuration of the Performance Toolkit. The configuration file is FCONX<br />

$PROFILE. We completed the following steps:<br />

1. Log on to z/VM as user perfsvm.<br />

2. Define the monitoring by using the monitor control program (CP) command.<br />
