SAP Notes The SAP Note system is used for support announcements of new modules, functions, and technologies. It serves for communicating updated implementation and operation procedures, including hints and tips. It is also the communication system for SAP product maintenance request from clients. Over time, SAP Notes have become an integrated part of the SAP documentation system and have an official SAP statement character. The art is to find the correct note if it is not referenced in other documentation, such as the planning guides. Always use the latest version of a note. Also check the list of dependent related notes. Key SAP Notes for systems based on SAP NetWeaver 7 Table B-2 lists several SAP Notes for planning and installation on the IBM zEnterprise System. This table includes notes that are also referenced in the SAP documentation and others that affect the planning and implementation of SAP on the zEnterprise System. The list is not extensive nor complete, but provides a good starting point. Check this list in the Note system for updates and completions each time you plan, install, or update an SAP system.
