SAP DBA Cockpit can monitor this information including an automatic history. Figure 3-5 shows the redesigned display in the DBA Cockpit. Because the counters for the DISP address space are available with DB2 10, the display now shows the respective counters for DBM1 and DIST side by side. New statement cache filter options IFCID 316 offers a set of improvements that are beneficial for analyzing SAP workloads. The most important change is the ability to provide filter values for the first table name and the SAP accounting qualifiers End User ID, ABAP Program Name, and SAP Transaction/Batch Job. Figure 3-6 shows the redesigned Specify a Filter panel. These filters are passed directly to the instrumentation facility interface (IFI) and are applied by DB2 when requesting statement cache data. Therefore, analysis turnaround times can be dramatically reduced, and the results are not susceptible to IFI memory restrictions.
