�� The application server instances and the SAProuter run on z/VM as guests using Linux on System z. Depending on the SAP kernel level, groups of Linux on System z guests within an LPAR can share the application runtime libraries. If the development and QA instances are in the same LPAR, they must have separate directories to ensure test and staging version separation.
