Considerations for Workload Manager and stored procedures
The DB2 installation job DSNTIJRW creates the WLM environments following the naming
scheme of DSNWLM_*. This default behavior can become a single point of failure when you
run several DB2 databases in the LPAR, which is the typical setup. SAP recommends
replacing the DSNWLM naming convention with the DB2 SSID or group name so that you
create dedicated WLM environments for each DB2 subsystem or DB2 data sharing group.

To limit the number of WLM environments created, you can modify DSNTIJRW to not create
environments that are not used by SAP. For more information, see the SAP DBA Guide: DB2
for z/OS (V10):
Before the release of DB2 10, SAP shipped some stored procedures as part of the DB2
Control Center. The SAP CCMS stored procedures (DSNACCxx) are now replaced by the
equivalent ADMIN_ procs in DB2. SAP still ships the stored procedure library SAPCL with the
installation media. SAPCL procedures act as data collectors for the DB2 performance data by
retrieving information from the DB2 instrumentation facility interface (IFI).
