Chapter Ibid. Jofephus tells us oAntiq. lib. ii. c. 10. that
XII. Zsdefoah thought this Prophecy inconfiftent with
L/V"^ that of Jeremiah, Chap, xxxiv. 3. That ZedekiaWs
Eyes fhould fee the E)es of the King of 'Babylon :
and therefore believed neither. But they both ac-
tually came to pifs,. as the facred Story allures us :
The King of "Babylon parling Sentence upon him
at Riblah, as one that had broke the Oath and Covenant
he had made with him, and then putting
out his Eyes and carrying him to "Babylon.
