Ver. 22. In the four corners of the Court there were Ver. 2 2
Courts joined^ ofjorty Cubits long, and thirty broad]
Thefe little Courts were in the fhape of an Oblong
Square, joined with inner Walls to the outfide Walls
of the Greater Court. The Hebrew word Keturoh,
tranflated pined, is rendered in the Margin, made
with Chimneys, which Senie very well agrees with
the Defcription that follows of the ufes for which
thefe Courts were defigned.

Ver. 24. Thefe are the Places where the Mini- Ver. 24.
flers of the Houfefi all boil the Sacrifice ofthe People.']
As there was a place in the inner Court for boiling
the Trefpafs and Sin-Offering, Verfe 19 20.
So thefe Boiling places might be appointed for the
Boiling the Peace-Offerings, which were efieemed in-
ferior in Holinefs to thofe above-mentioned, (lee the
Note upon Chapt. xlii. 13.) and therefore perhaps
were dreffed by the Levites, or inferior Mini-
fters : Whereas the Former were boiled by the Priefts .
in the Court properly belonging to them. Altho'
it muft be granted, the Priefts and Levites are often \
taken promifcuoufly in this Prophecy : See the
