St. Paul in his Epiflles calls the Chriflian Church
by the Name of the Houfe or Temple of God,

1 Tim. iii. 15. Heb. iii. 6. In purfuance of the
fame Metaphor he tells us that Antichrift fhall
fit in the Temple of God, meaning the Chriflian
