The Words imply the Reafon why the People were<br />

not to come in at the Eaft-gate, becaufe there<br />

being no Paflage or Thorow-fare out of the Tem-<br />

ple weftward ; if they had entred in at the Eaftgate,<br />

they nruft have returned back the fame way<br />

they came in, which would have been turning their<br />

Back upon God, and the Place of his Residence :<br />
