The Argument.<br />

Under the T*arable of a Vine, which when it is<br />

barren, is Unfit for any life , isfiewedthe utter<br />

than any other Tree, or than<br />

latter part of the Verfe may<br />

be better Tranflated thus, If<br />

Work, &c] The Wood of a Vine is of no ufe for<br />

Building, or making any Utenfil. The Works of<br />

that Kind which Tliny takes notice of, Nat. Hift-<br />

7. xiv. c. 1. are rather to be lookt upon as Rarities,<br />

than as things of common Ufe.<br />
