explain the Description here given of it.<br />

This Afcent is dire&ed to be placed at the<br />

Eaft-Side of the Altar, that they who went up<br />

mould look toward the Weft, and upon the<br />

Temple, and mould turn their Backs to the Rifing-Sun,<br />

in oppofttion to the Rites of thofe<br />

Idolaters, who worfhipped the Riling- Sun. See<br />
