Tart I. where there is a 'Draught of the Altar,
and the Afcent to it, which very much helps to
explain the Description here given of it.
This Afcent is dire&ed to be placed at the
Eaft-Side of the Altar, that they who went up
mould look toward the Weft, and upon the
Temple, and mould turn their Backs to the Rifing-Sun,
in oppofttion to the Rites of thofe
Idolaters, who worfhipped the Riling- Sun. See
