The Argument.<br />

Xfo Trophet denounces God's Judgments againft<br />

thofe Hypocrites who pretended to be his Worffjippers,<br />

and at the fame time fccretly practiced<br />

Idolatry. He afterward Jets forth God's Mercy<br />

toward the Jews in [paring a few of that finful<br />

Nation, and thofe no better than the reft that<br />

were de/troyed, when he might in Juftice have<br />

involved all ofthem in one common c<br />
