the regulation <strong>of</strong> pro-inflammatory response <strong>and</strong>, subsequently, in the<br />

susceptibility to T. gondii infection. Our data also suggest that in the absence <strong>of</strong><br />

IL-4 the Th1 cells could be more activated or less suppressed despite the fact<br />

that we detected more Tregs. Further experiments are undergoing to evaluate<br />

the role <strong>of</strong> IL-4 in the suppressive activity <strong>of</strong> Tregs during T. gondii infection.<br />
