Select furnishings and other site details from a consistent family of
products germane to the history and character of the District.
Consider the fencing, brick, hardware,
benches, etc. that have already been
incorporated into the Project Stars designs.
For example, use custom sewer covers
showing the District stars theme and
incorporate additional information as desired
by individual communities. This information
may include wayfi nding, points of historic
or cultural interest, or other information.
TXDOT has recently adopted a District
license plate, which should also be promoted
within the District. See Design Elements for
suggested furnishings and details.
