As one last touch for our macro, we are go<strong>in</strong>g to change the buffer size for<br />

our delay, which def<strong>in</strong>es the maximum possible delay time. If you hold your<br />

mouse cursor over the Delay 4p macro (and provided the button is active),<br />

you can read <strong>in</strong> the h<strong>in</strong>t text that the default buffer size corresponds to<br />

1 sec of delay at 44.1kHz:<br />

Let’s <strong>in</strong>crease the amount to 5 seconds (44,100*5 = 220,500 samples). Because<br />

each sample requires 4 bytes, we need 220,500*4 = 882,000 bytes,<br />

which is almost 1MB). Double-click on the Delay 4p macro:<br />

The module on the left is the delay buffer module. Double-click it (or right-<br />

click and select Show Properties) to edit its properties. Select the<br />

tab and you should see the Size property. Change it to 220,500 samples:<br />
