2.5. Us<strong>in</strong>g audio as control signal<br />

We have mentioned above that it is possible to use an audio signal as a control<br />

signal. As an example of that, we are go<strong>in</strong>g to create a <strong>Reaktor</strong> <strong>Core</strong> cell<br />

implement<strong>in</strong>g a pair of oscillators, <strong>in</strong> which one modulates the other. Start by<br />

creat<strong>in</strong>g two multiwave oscillators:<br />

We need pitch control for both of the oscillators, and we are go<strong>in</strong>g to listen<br />

to the output of the second one, so let’s create the necessary <strong>in</strong>puts and<br />

outputs:<br />

Now we want to take the output of the left oscillator and use it to modulate<br />

the frequency of the right oscillator:<br />

The Mod <strong>in</strong>put controls the modulation amount.<br />
