In my work there is briefly presented the structure of instruments of
Bach’s period and characteristics of sound arising from this structure, ways of
their development which lead us to the modern keyboards and composer’s
attitude to these instruments.
The work gives examples of views and opinions of different musicians
and researchers about for which instruments Bach wrote his works in the
,,Well-temperated Klavire” and in his other works.
