Gucci Chrono Ceramic.
elvetica.
A tal proposito Michele Sofisti, CEO di Gucci
rendono inconfondibili i nostri orologi.
It all began in 1972 when Gucci was among the first fashion
houses to enter the watch industry, thanks to a licensing
agreement made with SeverinMontres, a Swiss companyfounded
by SeverinWundermann, charismatic
entrepreneur and watches pioneer. In 1997, Gucci
acquired the SeverinMontres company and it has further
extended its lines with successful iconic models that
always combine modernity and tradition, innovation and
craftsmanship, fashion and elegance. So Gucci watches
have always been made in Switzerland and they are still
assembled in the factory property in La Chaux-de-Fonds
- the historic heart of watch making Confederation.
In this regard Michele Sofisti, Gucci Timepieces CEO,
explained: “We are a very serious Swiss watch brand, with
40 years of watch making history behind. We create and produce
high quality watches that have nothing to envy to those
of top brands among the business. The merit of our Creative
Director, Frida Giannini, is to render our watches absolutely
“Gucci” and so different from the others, because she
knows how to choose and embed the appropriate iconic styles
to fit the Fashion house approach, that make our watches
unique. Our success is the result of our commitment to preserve
the original design values and our uncompromising
approach to quality and craftsmanship. Starting from this
solid foundation, we can afford to be innovative - as demonstrated
by the materials we use, the constant development of
our design and the creation of partnerships, particularly
with the world of music - that reflect our philosophy of great
talent and unlimited creativity.”
