ROSSINIANO<br />
Ho amato Rossini ancora prima di conoscerlo!<br />
L’ho amato fin da quando, bimbo di 4 anni, mi<br />
entusiasmavo di fronte alla banda dell’esercito che,<br />
durante il cambio della guardia al Quirinale, eseguiva<br />
alcuni temi tratti dal Moïse et Pharaon.<br />
L’ho amato mentre, aspettando l’inizio delle trasmissioni<br />
RAI, ascoltavo incantato la versione per sola<br />
orchestra del finale del Guillaume Tell.<br />
A ROSSINI CRESCENDO<br />
I loved Rossini even before knowing him!<br />
I loved him ever since I was four years old and I was<br />
enthusiastic in listening to Italian army orchestra<br />
performing some themes from Moïse et Pharaon.<br />
during the changing of the guard in front of the<br />
Quirinale palace.<br />
I loved him when listening to the final version for<br />
orchestra of Guillaume Tell, while waiting for the<br />
start of the RAI television broadcast.<br />
