DIVINE JEWELS
Il fondo, attivo da pochi mesi, nasce dall’esigenza di
cogliere le opportunità nel mercato mondiale della gioielleria
da 65 miliardi di dollari, che continua a mostrare
ottima salute. In effetti nelle ultime aste le vendite hanno
superato ogni aspettativa: a dimostrazione che i gioielli
rari e le pietre preziose restano un investimento
finanziario di prima qualità. Tra gli acquisti che sono
andati ad arricchire il patrimonio del fondo vi è un magnifico
paio di orecchini a clip a forma di tulipano, con
uno zaffiro blu e uno zaffiro giallo incastonati in un pavé
di rubini. Sono firmati JAR (Joël Arthur Rosenthal),
geniale gioielliere che, a partire dagli anni ‘70, ha rivoluzionato
il mondo della gioielleria, inventando tra l’altro
il micro pavé. Ed è anche l’unico gioielliere le cui
creazioni (solo un centinaio all’anno) vengono rivendute
a un prezzo più alto pochi anni dopo la loro realizzazione.
Straordinarie acquisizioni anche quelle firmate Harry
Winston: un bracciale degli anni ‘80 con zaffiri e diamanti
e un paio di orecchini a pendente con smeraldi e diamanti.
Degno di nota anche un anello con grande zaffiro
cabochon da 58 carati di un blu intenso e profondo, forse
uno degli zaffiri più belli e importanti al mondo.

The fund has been in operation since few months and it
was born from the need to seize opportunities in the jewelry
world market estimated in 65 billion dollars, which
continues to enjoy excellent health. Indeed in the last
auction, sales exceeded all expectations: this demonstrates
that rare jewels and precious stones are a first quality
financial investment. Among the purchases that have
enriched the fund, there is a beautiful pair of clip-on
tulip-shaped earrings, with a blue sapphire and a yellow
one set in a pave of rubies. The designer is JAR - Joël
Arthur Rosenthal - a brilliant jeweler who has revolutionized
the world of jewelry, among other things,
inventing the micro pave technique since the ‘70s. It is
also the only jeweler whose creations - only a hundred a
year - are sold at a higher price a few years after their creation.
There are also extraordinary acquisitions signed by Harry
Winston: a bracelet of the ‘80s with sapphires and diamonds
and a pair of drop earrings with emeralds and diamonds.
Worthy of note is a 58-carat ring with a deep blue
cabochon sapphire, perhaps one of the most beautiful
sapphires in the world.
