EATALY: FOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THE BEST MADE IN ITALY IN ROME On the 21 st June Eataly Rome opened its doors, becoming the largest of a megastores network that from New York to Turin are showing, cooking and selling the best selection of food and agricultural “Made in Italy”. 23 restaurants and dining corners, including the pizza spot and the buffalo mozzarella workshop, 40 educational areas, 8 classrooms, 8 live production areas, meeting rooms and conference areas. 17,000 sqm to over 14,000 products for sale: an inside view of the Italian excellences, a food experience at its fullest which is preparing to make Rome the new delicatessens capital: the Alpine ice cream with draught choccolate produced with PGI hazelnuts from Piemonte and emulsified with extra virgin olive oil. There is a large range of products people could choose from: the gardens goods managed by “Slow Food” group, the bread made with 35 years old natural yeast, artichokes and home-brewed beers.
