SUMMARY<br />
Erythromma najas is a common species <strong>in</strong> the <strong>Wellemeersen</strong> and seems to have become more common over the years.<br />
In the absence of Erythromma viridulum (until some time between 1969 and 1974) this species was able to extend its flight<br />
period <strong>in</strong>to the end of August, but nowadays <strong>in</strong> the presence of its competitor lasts only till the middle of July. For the<br />
moment, the strong <strong>in</strong>crease of Erythromma viridulum seems to have no <strong>in</strong>fluence on the population of Erythromma najas.<br />
