SUMMARY
In autumn Aeshna mixta is a very common dragonfly in the Wellemeersen. It can be encountered in every part of the area and
can be found on all types of the waters present. It is unclear to what degree observed adults are autochthonous. The compara-
tively low numbers of reproduction records suggest a yearly influx of immigrants.
