Tabela br. 2.
Broj jelovih sušaca po deb. razredima
Ekspo- I. II. III. IV. V. VI. VII.
zicija 10—20 21—30 31^0 41—50 51—60 61—70 71—80 Ukupno
Topla 61 162 168 173 155 85 36 840
Hladna 13 52 66 59 50 20 15 275
imali smo u IV. debljinskom razredu, a u III. debljinskom razredu
nad njima. U većem broju slučajeva prije potpunog sušenja, spomenuta
stabla pokazuju to i vanjskim znacima. Krošnja se prorijedi, i
dobije žuto zelenu boju, izbije smola i slično.
CONCLUSION
1) The highest percentage of wind-thrown Fir stems is to be found in the
medium diameter classes. On warm slopes exposed more strongly to the action of
southerly winds the number of wind-thrown Fir stems is twice as high as on other
slopes.
2) The highest percentage of dead stems also occurs in the medium diameter
classes. The number of dead Fir stems on warm exposures is three times greater
than the number of dead stems on colder exposures.
3) The greatest number of wind-thrown and dead stems in the medium diameter
classes calls for special attention in the management "of these stems as well as for
their special control.
4) The occurence of double the number of wind-throws and treble the number
of dead trees on warm exposures calls for special attention in the marking or felling
of trees on these exposures. Here, it is imperative to maintain a denser crown closure
and, in this connection, the greater standing volume per 1 ha. than on colder exposures
under similar ecological and soil conditions.
