In future, the design according to<br />
CEN/TS 1992-4 is to take place in<br />
connection with a European tech-<br />
nical approval. The design is per-<br />
formed on the basis of the safety<br />
concepts with partial safety coef-<br />
ficients and distinguish between<br />
the direction of loading and the<br />
failure modes.<br />
The characteristic resistances are<br />
generally calculated with design<br />
equations. For certain failure<br />
modes (e.g. failure of the connec-<br />
tion between anchor and channel<br />
or a bent-up channel flank), for<br />
which the failure load cannot be<br />
calculated with sufficient precisi-<br />
on, tests are performed. The cha-<br />
racteristic resistances derived<br />
from the experimental results and<br />
the minimum edge spacing and<br />
center-to-center distances as well<br />
as the minimum thickness of mem-<br />
bers are provided in a European<br />
Technical Approval (ETA). The rele-<br />
vant approvals for anchor channels<br />
have in the meantime been issued.<br />
In these approvals, the design ac-<br />
cording to CEN/TS 1992-4 is alrea-<br />
dy integrated.<br />
The use of technical specification<br />
CEN/TS 1992-4:2009 is for the time<br />
being restricted to three years, i.e.<br />
until 2012. After that time, a deci-<br />
sion on the contents and on the<br />
conversion into a European stan-<br />
dard in the fourth part of Eurocode<br />
2 will be taken. The German Insti-<br />
tute for Standardization DIN cur-<br />
rently collects comments and<br />
suggestions on DIN SPEC 1021-<br />
4:2009. �<br />

Zulassungen für Ankerschienen wur-<br />

CEN/TS 1992-4 bereits integriert.<br />
Die Technische Spezifikation CEN/TS<br />
1992-4:2009 ist zunächst auf drei<br />
Jahre bis 2012 befristetet. Nach die-<br />
ser Zeit wird über die Inhalte und die<br />
Umwandlung in eine europäische<br />
Norm in den vierten Teil des Euro-<br />
codes 2 entschieden. Das Deutsche<br />
Institut für Normung sammelt derzeit<br />
Anmerkungen und Vorschläge zur DIN<br />
SPEC 1021-4:2009.�
